Sound Nightclub: Experience Innovative Nightlife in Hollywood

My friend and I came here to see Nightmares on Wax. The vibe for the opening djs was kinda lame but as the night went on the crowd got cooler. The lowering of the lights was a really cool effect. We never waited in line for the bathroom which was so nice! Our bartender was cool and attentive and there wasn’t any line for drinks either. What they don’t tell you is that they charge $2 for cups that you are supposed to save and reuse. No one mentioned that and we had to pay for several cups. If the talent is good I would go back!

Our go to for any DJ Events. I wanted to congratulate the security agents at the entrance. Although I do not know any of them, I find hem extremely kind and super professional. Inside the club is insane. The soundsystem is wonderful and we always have a great time. For drinks, expect price points similar at other places in the area.

The Sound Nightclub has hosted DJ Legends like #DJMarquesWyatt , #jDavidMorales , & #DJDocMartin mongst many more! The "Sunken Dancefloor" is #BenieSanders HUGE and engulfs you with pure Tribal #HouseHead Vibe Energy when my Fav Dee Jays are throwin' down dancefloor scorch bangers!! Always Happy & Relived when the Security Bouncers find my #GoGoDance Name on the VIP Guestlist. It allows me not to have to stand in line for so long. I was born to dance, and not stand still. The Sound Music Speakers easily carry the thumping music beat across the entire dancefloor. The Sound Nightclub is on Las Palmas, in "Tinsel Town" smack between Selma and Hollywood BLVD.

Beautiful club, clean bathrooms, great sound, amazing DJs the night we went (Ferreck Dawn, Kai Song) and the light show was so well done like Vegas level light show. It got super packed towards the end of the night which was annoying but we also expected it. We used the Discotech app to get on the guest list for the free before 11 option.

So grateful for this place. I came here once to celebrate my 25th birthday back in 2015 before they did the renovation. Let’s say I had no clue where I was and was just going with friends who were local. Fast forward I moved to LA 2 years ago and came for a fun night of dancing and saw the shark disco that took me back to that day I was there to celebrate my birthday but It looked nothing like then. Way more beautiful than I had remembered but this time I went out in the patio and let’s just say I’m incredibly grateful to have this club in my hood. Hopefully someday I get to spin there and be part of the community that I feel so lucky to have just 12 minutes away from my place. Keep it up Sound. Thank you also for the comp tickets I get every now and then. It’s the icing on the cake.

Great ambiance. The sounds and lights were setup very well. Not tryna be weird but the scent of the whole club was refreshing and clean.

Cool club in Hollywood…. Wait time wasn’t too bad… super friendly staff … The drinks are cheaper than other clubs in HollyWood for sure, and the bartenders are super cool and nice… The tall white, dude, named Jedi saved the day, because my girlfriend wasn’t feeling so well and he got her a free cup of water and a little shot of ginger ale…. It’s a little things that count, especially when you go to a big Metropolitan area, and see random acts of kindness.…. I live in San Diego, and most of the bartenders have attitudes and chips on their shoulders… It was nice to see that this dude was cool, and respectable… And didn’t try to hit on my girlfriend, like most male bartenders do. every note has a different DJ, so check out the schedule, and get there early for discounts! Also, they don’t serve Jack Daniels there sadly

Love the ambience of this place, went there for the first time yesterday. Women’s bathroom is small but line went pretty fast yesterday but it was also a Wednesday night. Love the decor on the dance floor, love the decore in the outside section. The bartenders by the bathroom were super nice. It was house music night, you get rude and nice people at all rave events. It was pretty hot on the dance floor but it was nice they had outdoor seating to just chill and chat with friends. Definitely will be coming here more often. I was able to find meter street parking.
